Audio to Video Converter
Platforms like YouTube, Instagram and TikTok only accept video files, so a song, podcast episode or voice note needs a picture before it can be posted. Upload the audio with a cover image, or let the converter draw a waveform, and download an MP4 in the frame size the platform expects.

Max 95 MB per file· Up to 20 files· Deleted after 30 minutes
Files are processed on our servers and deleted after 30 minutes.
Contain shows the whole image with bars, cover fills the frame and crops the edges, blur fills the bars with a blurred copy of the image.
Fills the frame behind a waveform, around a contained image, or the whole video when plain color is chosen.
How the sound is drawn. Bars and spectrum react clearly to music; line suits speech and podcasts.
Color of the waveform drawing, e.g. #FFFFFF on a dark background.
Used when you upload images without audio, or several images with one track: how long each picture stays on screen.
Effect between images when you upload more than one.
192 kbps keeps music clean; uploading platforms re-encode anyway, so higher rarely helps.
Seconds of fade to black and silence at the end. 0 means a hard stop.
How to use this tool
- 1
Upload audio and pictures
Add the sound file (MP3, M4A, WAV, FLAC, OGG, AAC, AMR and more) together with one or more images (JPG, PNG, HEIC, WebP). Up to 20 files, each up to 95 MB.
- 2
Pick the frame and the visual
Choose Video size, such as 1920 × 1080 for YouTube or 1080 × 1920 for Reels, and in Show pick the uploaded image, a waveform or a plain color. Fit, colors, timing and fades are under Advanced settings.
- 3
Convert and download
Press Convert to MP4 (or MOV or WebM) and download the video. Uploads and results are deleted from the server 30 minutes after processing.
To convert audio to video, upload the sound file and one picture, choose the frame size, and press Convert to MP4: the picture stays on screen for the full length of the audio, and the file uploads anywhere a video does.
Convert audio to video: three ways to fill the picture
Uploaded image
Album art, a podcast cover or a photo, fitted to the frame with bars, a crop or a blurred fill.
Waveform
An animated drawing of the sound as bars, a line, a circle or a spectrum, in the color you pick.
Plain color
A single background color for the whole video, useful for audio-only uploads and drafts.

Tallest Instagram feed format
Every major video platform wants a picture track. YouTube's upload page accepts MP4, MOV, WebM and other video formats but no audio files, which is why musicians post songs as a still frame of the cover art. Reels, Shorts and TikTok all fill a 9:16 phone screen, Instagram's feed allows up to 4:5 in portrait, and a square 1:1 frame fits everywhere with no wasted space. Picking the matching Video size avoids black bars added by the app.
A sixth choice, Same as the image, keeps the exact pixel size of your uploaded picture. For the most common sources there are ready pages: MP3 to MP4 for songs and podcasts, M4A to MP4 for iPhone voice memos, and WAV to MP4 for studio exports.
Length is set by the audio, not by you: the video runs exactly as long as the sound file, and the picture or waveform fills that time. For a short teaser, cut the track first with trim audio and then convert. A one-hour episode works as well, as long as the audio file itself is no larger than 95 MB, which an MP3 of that length at 128 kbps easily meets.
Add an image to audio: picture, slideshow and sound settings
Image fit
Contain shows the whole picture with bars around it, Cover fills the frame and crops the edges, and Blurred fill (the default) puts a blurred copy of the picture behind it so a square cover fills a 16:9 or 9:16 frame without plain bars.
Background color
Fills the space around a contained image, the area behind a waveform, or the whole frame when Show is set to Plain color. Black is the default.
Waveform style and color
Bars, Line, Circle or Spectrum, drawn in any color; white on a dark background is the default and reads well on phones.
Seconds per image and Transition
With several pictures, each stays for 1 to 60 seconds (5 by default, in half-second steps), joined by a cut, a crossfade or a slide.
Repeat images to fit audio
On: the pictures cycle until the sound ends. Off: they are spread evenly over the whole track.
Audio bitrate and Fade out
128 to 320 kbps, 192 kbps by default, plus an optional fade to black and silence of up to 10 seconds at the end.
Check the rights before you post
Turning a song into a video does not change who owns it. YouTube's Content ID and Instagram's music matching scan uploads, so a commercial track can be muted, blocked or monetized by the rights holder. Use audio you made, licensed or have permission to share.
Before you convert
- Use a cover image at least as large as the frame
- Match Video size to the platform, not the other way round
- Choose MP4 unless an editor asks for MOV
- Pick Line waveform for speech, Bars for music
- Keep the audio at 192 kbps; platforms re-encode it
- Add a short Fade out for a clean ending
Audio to video converter questions
How do I convert an MP3 to video for YouTube?
Upload the MP3 with a cover picture, keep Video size at 1920 × 1080 (16:9) and Convert to at MP4, then upload the result to YouTube like any other video. YouTube does not accept MP3 files directly, which is the whole reason for this step.
Can I add audio to an existing video here?
Not as a soundtrack replacement. This tool builds a new video from sound plus still pictures or a waveform. If you have a video clip and want only its sound, video to audio extracts it; to change format, length or size of a video, use the other video tools.
How many images can I use with one audio track?
Several. Upload them in the same batch as the audio and they become a slideshow, each shown for Seconds per image with a crossfade or slide between them. With Repeat images to fit audio on, they cycle until the sound ends; off, they are spread evenly over its length.
Can I make a video from photos without any music?
Yes. Upload only images and each one stays on screen for Seconds per image, from 1 to 60 seconds, five by default. That is how JPG to MP4 works when you need a short silent slideshow.
Which waveform style suits a podcast clip?
Line follows the shape of speech clearly without looking busy. Bars and Spectrum react strongly to beats and suit music. Circle works well in square 1080 × 1080 posts, where it sits in the middle of the frame.
Why is the video file so much larger than my MP3?
Even a still picture has to be stored as video frames, and every frame adds some data. A static image compresses very well, so the extra is usually modest, but a waveform changes every frame and adds more. A 4K frame size costs more than 1080p for no gain on phones.
Will the audio quality drop when it becomes a video?
The sound is encoded once at Audio bitrate, 192 kbps by default, which is clean for music. YouTube, Instagram and TikTok re-encode every upload anyway, so choosing 320 kbps rarely makes an audible difference after posting.
Can I use an iPhone voice memo and a HEIC photo straight from my phone?
Yes. Voice memos are saved as M4A and iPhone photos as HEIC, and both are accepted as they are, with no conversion beforehand. Upload them together from the Files app or the photo picker, and the result is a regular MP4 that plays on Android and Windows too.
