Terms of Service

1. The service

UltKit provides free online tools that convert, compress, resize and otherwise transform files you upload. We may add, change or remove tools at any time. Each tool page states the file types, sizes and quantities it accepts; we may refuse or interrupt processing of files that exceed those limits or that we reasonably believe violate these terms.

2. Your files and your responsibility

You keep all rights to the files you upload and to the results. You grant us only the limited, temporary licence needed to process the file and return the result to you. You are responsible for having the right to upload and transform each file, and you confirm that doing so does not infringe anyone's copyright, privacy or other rights.

Uploaded and converted files are deleted automatically 30 minutes after processing. We are not a storage service: download your results promptly and keep your own copies.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• upload or process content that is illegal, that infringes intellectual-property rights, or that depicts the sexual abuse of minors;
• circumvent copy protection, DRM or access controls, or remove passwords from files you are not authorised to open;
• send automated or bulk traffic, scrape the site, or resell the Service without our written permission;
• upload malware or attempt to probe, disrupt or overload our systems;
• misrepresent the origin of a file or use the Service to deceive a third party.

4. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may suspend the Service for maintenance, change limits or discontinue tools, and we may block access from sources that abuse it.

5. Advertising and third parties

The Service is supported by advertising served by Google and its partners. We are not responsible for the content of advertisements or for third-party sites linked from UltKit. Your use of those sites is governed by their own terms.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service and its results are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. Specifications quoted on tool pages (photo sizes, portal limits, format requirements) are researched carefully but may change; verify them against the issuing authority before relying on them. 7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, UltKit is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or business, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if advised of the possibility. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service, which is zero.

8. Intellectual property

The UltKit name, logo, site design, texts and software are owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright and trademark law. You may link to any page. You may not copy the guidance texts, reproduce the site, or use the UltKit brand without permission.

9. Privacy

How we handle files, logs and cookies is described in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the current version. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the new terms.

11. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the country in which UltKit is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes are subject to the courts of that country unless mandatory consumer law gives you another forum. Questions about these terms: [email protected].
