Max 95 MB per file· Up to 50 files· Deleted after 30 minutes
Files are processed on our servers and deleted after 30 minutes.
White space around each image: small is 5 mm, medium 10 mm, large 20 mm. Ignored when page size is the same as the image.
Fit shows the whole image with white space if the shapes differ; fill covers the page and crops the edges; actual size places it at its print size from DPI.
Put 2 or 4 images on each page in a grid, for ID cards front and back or contact sheets.
Custom page width in millimetres (A4 is 210 mm).
Custom page height in millimetres (A4 is 297 mm).
One PDF with a page per image, or a separate PDF for every image downloaded as a ZIP.
The order you added the files (drag to rearrange), alphabetical by file name, or by the date the photo was taken.
JPEG quality of photos inside the PDF. 85 keeps them sharp; with a target size this is the starting point.
How to use this tool
- 1
Add your PNG files
Drop up to 50 PNGs, 95 MB each, or pick them from a folder. Drag the thumbnails to set the page order, or sort by file name under Page order.
- 2
Choose the page size
Page size starts at Same as image, which makes every page exactly the size of its PNG. Switch to A4 or Letter when the PDF will be printed or submitted somewhere that expects a standard sheet.
- 3
Create the PDF
Press Convert to PDF. You get one PDF with a page per image, or a ZIP of separate PDFs if you set Output to One PDF per image.
How do I change a PNG to a PDF without losing quality?
Keep the page size on Same as image so the PNG is not scaled, and leave image quality high. Upload, press Convert to PDF, and the PNGs come back as pages of one document.
Why turn PNG screenshots into a PDF
PNG is the format of screenshots. Windows, macOS, iOS and Android all save screen captures as PNG because the format is lossless and keeps text and interface edges crisp. That is ideal for one image and awkward for twelve: an expense claim with a dozen receipt captures, a bug report with every step of a checkout flow, or a set of chart exports for a meeting all read better as one file with pages in a fixed order.
PDF solves the order problem and the compatibility problem at once. It has been an open ISO standard since 2008 (ISO 32000-1), it opens in every browser without extra software, and expense systems, school portals and court e-filing systems accept it where they will not take a loose collection of images. Windows 10 and later also include Microsoft Print to PDF, but it prints one image to one sheet with fixed margins; a converter gives you control over page size, layout and file size.
If the PNGs are photographs rather than screenshots, JPG to PDF explains the defaults that suit camera images better.

Portable Network Graphics
PNG is a lossless raster format published in 1996 by the PNG Development Group and later standardised by the W3C and ISO. It keeps every pixel exactly, supports full alpha transparency and handles text, sharp edges and flat colours without artefacts. That precision makes it ideal for screenshots, logos, icons and interface graphics. The trade-off is size: photographs saved as PNG are often several times larger than the same photo as JPEG or WebP. All browsers, operating systems and editors open PNG files.

Portable Document Format
PDF was created by Adobe in 1993 and became the open ISO 32000 standard in 2008. It fixes text, fonts, images and layout so a document looks the same on every screen and printer. PDFs can contain forms, signatures, links, attachments and searchable text, and the PDF/A variant is used for long-term archiving. The fixed layout makes PDFs hard to edit, and scanned PDFs contain only images unless OCR is applied. Every browser and operating system can open them.

People convert PNG to PDF to send several screenshots or receipts as one document that prints and attaches cleanly; turning a PDF into PNG is the reverse need, pulling a single page out as an image.
Same as image or A4 and Letter: which page size to pick
Same as image
Each page takes the exact proportions of its PNG. A tall phone screenshot gets a tall page; a wide chart gets a wide one.
- No scaling, no white bands
- Small text stays at full resolution
- Pages can differ in size within one PDF
- Margin setting is ignored
A4 or Letter
Every PNG is fitted onto a standard sheet: A4 is 210 × 297 mm (595 × 842 pt), Letter is 8.5 × 11 in (612 × 792 pt).
- Uniform pages that print without surprises
- Margins of 5, 10 or 20 mm available
- 2 or 4 images per page possible
- Wide images may get white space above and below
PNG to PDF: frequently asked
Will the text in my PNG screenshots stay sharp in the PDF?
Yes, at the default settings each screenshot is placed on a page the size of the image, so it is never scaled down to fit a sheet. Image quality starts at 92 on this page, higher than usual, because small lettering in screenshots is the first thing to blur.
What happens to the transparent parts of a PNG?
PDF can hold transparency, but a page needs a background, so transparent areas show the white page beneath them. A logo with a cut-out background therefore appears on white, which is how it would print anyway.
How do I combine several PNG files into one PDF?
Upload them together and keep Output on One PDF. Every PNG becomes a page in the order shown; you can drag to reorder, or sort by name or date taken. To add the result to an existing PDF afterwards, use merge PDF.
Can I make the PDF smaller for an email or a portal?
Set PDF file size to Target size and enter a limit such as 200 KB or 1 MB. The images are recompressed and downscaled until the file fits. For limits you hit often, the image to PDF under 200 KB page has that target preset.
Can I put two screenshots on one page?
Yes. Choose 2 or 4 under Images per page and pick A4 or Letter as the page size; the images are arranged in a grid with the margin you select. That suits a before-and-after pair or a set of phone screenshots.
Does the PDF include a watermark or need an account?
No to both. The PDF contains only your images, and the uploaded PNGs and the result are deleted from the server after 30 minutes. See the privacy policy for the details.
