Text Repeater
Type a word, a sentence or a whole block, choose how many copies you want and what goes between them, and copy the result. The repetition happens in your browser, so nothing you type is sent anywhere.

What it does
Text Repeater copies the input a chosen number of times (1 to 10,000) with a new line, a space, nothing or your own separator between copies. Output is capped at two million characters so the tab stays responsive.

Count, separator and the output limit
The Times field accepts any whole number from 1 to 10,000. The separator decides the shape of the result: New line stacks the copies as a list, Space runs them together as one line of words, Nothing glues them end to end ("ha" five times becomes "hahahahaha"), and Custom lets you type your own joiner, such as a comma and a space for a ready-made list or " | " for a divider. The separator is placed only between copies, never after the last one, so the output does not end with a stray comma or an empty line.
Whatever you paste is copied exactly, including line breaks, tabs, emoji and accented letters, so a three-line address repeated twenty times becomes sixty lines. To keep the page responsive the output stops at two million characters; when that happens a note under the result tells you it was capped, and the copy count is reduced to the largest number that fits.
Practical reasons to repeat text
Most people who repeat text are testing something. A designer pastes a 400-character name into a profile card to see where it wraps or truncates. A developer fills a form field with 10,001 characters to check that the maxlength attribute and the server both reject it, or builds a 1 MB string to see how an API handles large bodies. QA testers repeat a line of CSV to make a file with thousands of rows, and writers check how a post looks when it reaches a platform limit such as the 280 characters of a standard X post. For realistic paragraphs rather than repeated copies, the Lorem Ipsum Generator is the better source.
The rest is fun and formatting: a long row of emoji for a birthday message, a divider line of dashes or stars for a plain-text email, a chant or chorus written out for a script, or practice sheets that repeat a word for handwriting drills. If a long result needs to stay under a limit, paste it into the Word Counter to see the exact number of characters and words. Be considerate in chats and comment sections: most platforms treat walls of repeated text as spam and may hide or rate-limit it.
Frequently asked questions
- How many times can I repeat a piece of text?
- Up to 10,000 times in one go. If the combined result would pass two million characters, the output is shortened to the largest number of whole copies that fits and a note says so.
- How do I repeat a word without spaces in between?
- Choose Nothing as the separator. The copies are joined directly, which is how you get strings like "hahaha" or an unbroken row of emoji.
- Can I put a comma between the repeated copies?
- Pick Custom and type a comma followed by a space into the separator box. Any text works there, including symbols such as a pipe or a dash.
- Does the repeater add a separator after the final copy?
- No. The separator only goes between copies, so a list made with New line has no trailing empty line and a comma-joined list has no comma at the end.
